Let Them Eat Frosting (take that, Marie Antoinette)

With apologies to Sprinkles, from whom I stole this idea, I introduce the answer to all toddler birthday lick-the-frosting-off-the-top-and-grind-the-cupcake-into-the-floor dilemmas -- The Frosting Shot. It's just frosting, piped into a plastic (thanks, Ikea) shot glass, with a few sprinkles.

Happy Birthday, Pink. Hope you enjoyed the sugar rush.

  4. Holly - I would have made cake balls, but I'm counting on some for the Valentine's party...hint, hint

KLQJ - If you had done this, it would have been so much cuter!

TT - I think you are right, Liezl would have been right at home here

Charlotte - it's not as bad as it looks, shot glasses aren't really that big - and they saved all the sugar and fat that would have been in the cake.

  7. As I'm sure you knew I would, I >love the clever title. And the frosting shot idea is brilliant - my oldest still never eats the cake. Very cute.

  8. I have no idea what the '>' is in the comment above. I swear I didn't type that. But it looks like I am saying that I am greater than an italicized love which we all know not to be true.

  9. Jenny - Thanks!

SJW - I am sure a sprinkles francise would totally take off in Utah!

Corbie - you are greater than love, italicized or not!

  10. Tyler would be in absolute HEAVEN, but I can't help but look at that and go "ew gross." There IS such thing as too much frosting...for adults at least. BUT great idea!
