Let's go fly a kite.

My favorite thing about this picture is not that it captures the first time Blue and Pink have flown a kite, but that exactly one week ago, we were experiencing the biggest snow storm this area had ever seen.

  1. The picture is great and it is funny to think that we all had snow this time last week! Here's to a gorgeous, warm weekend!!!

  2. Wow...I wish our snow would melt off and the weather was nice enough for kite flying. Scratch that - I need to buy a kite anyway. And a shovel. No one sells them apparently. Anyhow, I love the pic and I am envious of the grass.

  3. Oh Texas. . .you are one in a million. We always have wind going here in San Antonio and yet have not tried a serious attempt at kite flying. Thanks for the reminder.

  4. Jenny - unbelievable, isn't it?

Tyler's Mom - just remember this moment when we have melt-your-face-off heat.

Team Tovar - I've never figured out the wind - is it the lack of mountains? - we have unbelievable wind until about June, and then it stops, and the humidity moves in.

  9. I would complain, but I just spent a week in New Mexico- and it is pretty wonderful. I miss it already.

  10. That sky is a dream. The wind here freezes my face off and I'm mad about it!

  11. For those of us in Utah, that picture is the equivalent of a desert mirage to a dehydrated camel...it's that cold here. At least someone is enjoying the great outdoors. Very cute.
